Stabling: All horses purchased through online bidding will be charged $25/head/day for care and

The State of Iowa requires 7% sales tax on all tack and horse-drawn equipment,
light horses, ponies, mules and miniature horses. No sales tax on draft horses. Sales tax permits and numbers must be furnished in order to be exempt.
